Become a Local Weightlifting Committee (LWC) Referee

USAW requires all sanctioned meets to use only LWC level referees. This raises the referee quality and makes it more consistent. You’re encouraged to take these steps for becoming a LWC referee:

1. Watch the USAW video
2. Download the PowerPoint Presentation
3. Take the 50-question quiz. (passing is 42/50 or 84%)
4. Print out the successfully passed screen and/or
5. Save a screen shot or PDF for your records.
